That is wrong. Folktales and myths are metaphors that mirror their times.

If so, a thousand years from now, people will read the records of our time and be surprised like this.
とすれば、千年後せんねんごの人ひとは現代げんだいの記録きろくを読よんで、こう驚おどろくだろう。
