Yes. Each article includes four levels of text — Standard Japanese, Hiragana with furigana, Romaji (Glomaji), and English — allowing learners of all levels to read at their own pace. You can start with English and gradually move into Japanese naturally. What is the difference between the App and Digital Packages? アプリ版とデジタルパッケージは何が違いますか？
The App comes with an annual subscription and opens the complete archive back to 2013, with audio and adjustable text levels. Digital Packages are sold on their own, in bundles of six or twelve issues, and are read in your browser with no app to install. Both are delivered without shipping, so neither is subject to customs duties.
アプリ版は年間購読に含まれ、2013年からの全号を音声つき・テキストレベル切り替えつきでお読みいただけます。デジタルパッケージは6冊・12冊単位の買い切りで、インストール不要、ブラウザでお読みいただけます。どちらも発送を伴わないため、関税はかかりません。
Which issue does my subscription start with? 購読はどの号から始まりますか？
Your subscription begins with the issue on sale on the day you place your order, and continues for twelve issues. A new issue goes on sale on the 20th of each month.
お申し込みいただいた日に発売中の号から始まり、全12号をお届けします。新しい号は毎月20日に発売されます。
What payment methods can I use? 支払い方法には何が使えますか？
Payments are handled by Stripe, and all major credit and debit card brands are accepted. Cards issued outside Japan work in the same way as domestic ones, so you can order from anywhere in the world. Your card details are handled by Stripe and are never stored by us.
決済はStripeで行っており、主要なクレジットカード・デビットカードのブランドをご利用いただけます。海外発行のカードも国内発行のカードと同様にお使いいただけますので、世界中どこからでもお申し込みいただけます。カード情報はStripeが取り扱い、弊社が保持することはありません。
Can you issue a quotation or an invoice for our organization? 見積書や請求書を発行してもらえますか？
Yes. We regularly handle the full process — quotation, purchase order, invoice, and receipt — for schools, universities, public libraries, government bodies, JICA, and embassies. Payment by bank transfer is available for these orders. Our qualified invoice registration number is T4010001160053. Please contact us with the documents and format you require.

Is the subscription automatically renewed? 購読は自動更新されますか？
If you subscribed through the App Store, your subscription will renew automatically unless you cancel it before the renewal date. You can check, manage, or cancel your subscription anytime from the "Subscriptions" section in your App Store account settings. If you subscribed via our website, the subscription is valid for one year and will not be automatically renewed. When your subscription period ends, you can renew it manually on our website if you wish to continue.
App Storeからご購読いただいた場合、解約の手続きをされない限り、購読は自動的に更新されます。更新日までにキャンセルされない場合、次の購読期間に自動的に延長されます。解約や確認は、App Storeアカウントの「サブスクリプション管理」画面からいつでも行うことができます。Webサイトからご購読いただいた場合は、1年間の定期購読となり、自動更新はされません。購読期間が終了後、継続をご希望の際は、Webサイト上で再度お申し込みいただけます。

Yes, you can change your plan anytime by contacting us. If you start with one version and later want to experience the other, we'll help you transition smoothly.

Where can I buy single issues and back issues? 1冊単位やバックナンバーはどこで買えますか？
Single issues are sold at major bookstores in Japan such as Kinokuniya and Tsutaya, and through Kinokuniya's international branches and online store. Back issues are available from Amazon Japan, and bookstores can place an order for you. App subscribers can read every issue back to January 2013 within the app. Issues from 2024 onward are also available as Digital Packages, read in your browser. We also sell customizable packs of five or ten printed back issues.

How long does international shipping take? 国際便で到着までに何日かかりますか？
International shipping usually takes about 10 days to 2 weeks, depending on your country or region. If your magazine hasn't arrived after this period, please contact us or check with your local post office. In recent months, some EU countries have strengthened customs inspections, which may occasionally cause delays or import taxes. Digital Packages involve no shipment at all, so they are never subject to customs duties.
国際郵便での配送には通常10日〜2週間ほどかかります（地域により異なります）。この期間を過ぎても届かない場合は、お手数ですが弊社までご連絡いただくか、お近くの郵便局にお問い合わせください。近年、EU諸国では税関検査が厳格化しており、まれに関税や通関審査により到着が遅れることがあります。デジタルパッケージは発送を伴わないため、関税がかかることはありません。
