- In 2000, many human bones from the late Yayoi period (about 1,800 years ago) were excavated at the Aoya-Kamijichi site in Tottori City, Tottori Prefecture.
2000年に鳥取県鳥取市の青谷上寺地遺跡で、弥生時代後期（約1800年前）の人骨がたくさん出土しました。 - Tottori Prefecture created a reconstructed facial image of the “Aoya Yayoi man” based on skull morphology and DNA analysis results. When the prefectural government solicited “Aoya Yayoi look-alikes” from all over Japan, it received 215 submissions.
鳥取県は頭蓋骨の形態やDNAの分析結果を基に「あおや弥生人」の復顔像を作成。全国から「あおや弥生人そっくりさん」を募集したところ、215件の応募がありました。 - An event was held in May this year to decide its Grand Prix. The first grand prix winner was YOSHIDA Masahiro.
今年5月、グランプリを決めるイベントが開催され、初代グランプリには吉田正宏さんが選ばれました。 - Yoshida, who has grown his hair and beard and lost six kilograms, made the audience laugh, saying, “My daughter told me, ‘Don’t walk next to me.’”
吉田さんは、髪と髭を伸ばし6キロ減量したことで、「娘に『隣を歩くな』と言われた」と観客を笑わせました。
