In Japan, hot days are each given a name.
日本(にほん)では、暑(あつ)い日(ひ)にそれぞれ名前(なまえ)がつけられています。

Days with temperatures of 25 degrees Celsius or higher are called “Natsubi”, 30 degrees Celsius or higher “Manatsubi”, and 35 degrees Celsius or higher “Moshobi”.
気温(きおん)が25度(ど)以上(いじょう)になる日(ひ)は「夏日(なつび)」、30度(ど)以上(いじょう)は「真夏日(まなつび)」、35度(ど)以上(いじょう)は「猛暑日(もうしょび)」と呼(よ)ばれます。

However, in recent years, dangerous heat of nearly 40 degrees Celsius has begun to be observed in various places.
しかし近年(きんねん)は、40度(ど)近(ちか)い危険(きけん)な暑(あつ)さが各地(かくち)で観測(かんそく)されるようになりました。

アルファ世代(せだい) | Generation Alpha

definition: Generation Alpha

The generation born from the late 1990s to around 2010 is called “Generation Z”.

1990年代(ねんだい)後半(こうはん)〜2010年前後(ねんぜんご)に生(う)まれた世代(せだい)は「Z世代(せだい)」と呼(よ)ばれます。

The generation following that, born from around 2010 to the mid-2020s, is “Generation Alpha”.

それに続(つづ)く2010年頃(ねんごろ)〜2020年代(ねんだい)半(なか)ばに生(う)まれた世代(せだい)が「アルファ世代(せだい)」です。

While Generation Z grew up with the internet, Generation Alpha is a generation familiar with AI.

Z世代(せだい)がネットとともに育(そだ)ったのに対(たい)し、アルファ世代(せだい)はAIが身近(みぢか)な世代(せだい)です。

The next generation is called “Generation Beta”, and is expected to grow up as AI and automation become more commonplace.

次(つぎ)の世代(せだい)は「ベータ世代(せだい)」と呼(よ)ばれ、AIや自動化(じどうか)がより日常化(にちじょうか)する中(なか)で育(そだ)つと見(み)られています。

They are attracting attention as practical items preventing mix-ups and leaving things behind.

特定(とくてい)の作品(さくひん)やキャラクター(character)などについて、まったく知識(ちしき)がない状態(じょうたい)を指(さ)します。

It is an internet slang used when emotions exceed the limit.

感情が限界を超えたときに使われるネットスラングです。

It spread triggered by a musical piece of an idol group.

アイドルグループの楽曲をきっかけに広まりました。

‘Metsu’ means ‘to disappear’ and ‘to vanish’, and expresses strong emotions to the extent that oneself seems to disappear.

「滅」は「なくなる」「消える」という意味で、自分が消えてしまいそうになるほどの強い感情を表します。

It is mainly used for positive emotions, such as loving too much and being too cute.

好きすぎる、かわいすぎるなど、主にポジティブな感情に対して使われます。
