 あまり良くない状況でも、かろうじて幸せを感じられる状態や心境を指します。

It carries the nuance of trying to get through with a positive mindset rather than feeling down, and has spread mainly among young people.

Its origin comes from the English word emotional.

ブロックしても同様のアカウントが次々と現れる様子がゾンビに例えられています。

オヤカク – Oyakaku – Confirm with Parents

This is an abbreviation of “Confirm with parents.”

「親に確認する」の略です。

After companies informal job offers to students, there has been an increase in cases where students reject them, saying that their parents oppose the decision, after some time.

企業が学生に内定を出してしばらくした後、親に反対されたという理由で断るケースが増えています。

Therefore, companies have started directly confirming acceptance of the job offers with the student’s parents.

そのため、企業が直接、本人の親に内定承諾の確認をするようになっています。

おめあり –  Omeari – Thank You for Congratulating Me

This is a coined word made from “Congratulations” and “Thank you.”

 「おめでとう」と「ありがとう」をつなげた造語です。

When someone says “Congratulations” to you, you use it to mean “Thank you for saying ‘Congratulations’ to me.”

「おめでとう」と言われたら、その相手に「『おめでとう』と言ってくれてありがとう」の意味で使います。

Sometimes, people also say “Omeari-” by elongating the ending.

語尾を伸ばして「おめありー」と言うこともあります。

The word “Ometan” is a combination of the words “Omedetou (congratulations)” and “Tanjyoubi (birthday).”
