While some wives say they don’t want to be buried in the same grave with their husbands, more and more people are saying that they want to be buried with a beloved pet.
夫と同じ墓に入りたくないという妻がいる一方で、愛するペットと埋葬されたいという人が増えています。
Around 90% of Japanese people have Buddhist funerals and many temples turn down these last wishes because they go against the teachings of Buddhism.
日本人のおよそ9割は仏教式の葬式をあげますが、多くの寺では仏教の教えに反することからその要望を断っています。
On the other hand, the number of pet cemeteries is increasing.
一方、ペット霊園は増えています。
Though the demand is increasing, very few cemeteries allow owners to be buried with their pets.
ペットと一緒に入れる霊園の需要は高まっていますが、とても少ないです。

2. Tottori Prefecture created a reconstructed facial image of the “Aoya Yayoi man” based on skull morphology and DNA analysis results. When the prefectural government solicited “Aoya Yayoi look-alikes” from all over Japan, it received 215 submissions.

2. Omutsu Box allows visitors who use the Child Rearing Support Center to use diapers for changing free of charge from the box.
   子育て支援センターを利用する人は、おむつボックスから交換用の紙おむつを無料で使うことができます。
3. This service allows people to easily go out with a small amount of luggage, interact with other people who are raising children, and also interact with the center staff.
   少ない荷物で気軽に外出することができ、子育て中の人同士やセンター職員との交流ができるなどの効果があります。
4. Omutsu Bank is an initiative which encourages households to donate excess diapers, such as those that no longer fit, to be inspected and distributed to families in need.
   おむつバンクは、サイズが合わなくなるなどで余った紙おむつを家庭から寄付してもらい、検品後、必要としている家庭に配布する仕組みです。
5. After the diapers are checked, they are distributed to families who need them through welfare organizations and child support services.
   検品後のおむつは、福祉団体や子育て支援を通じて、必要な家庭に届けられます。

This initiative also helps reduce waste and supports environmentally friendly child-rearing.
この取り組みは、ごみを減らし、環境にやさしい子育てにもつながっています。
