This refers to words used to hurt someone. Children also include orders given by adults in the list of words they don’t want to be used. There’s been a trend in kindergartens and primary schools towards using the opposite “fuwafuwago” (soft words), when spoken make people happy to hear. (From June issue, 2014 / 2014年6月号より）
