Mixed Condiment

Produced in Shisen Province, China, this condiment contains the five elements of sweet, hot, salty, sour and spicy. It’s reputed to go well with fried chicken, tofu and salad. Following on from “raayu” (edible chili oil), “shio-kouji” (fermented mix of rice and salt) and “salt lemon,” it seems that this will be the next big craze.
