All at Once

“Niwaka” means “suddenly.” People who suddenly become fans when something becomes trendy, without knowing much about it, are dubbed “niwaka fan.” When the Rugby World Cup was held in Japan this fall, the number of niwaka rugby fans rapidly rose.
