It refers to a face resembling that of the “Tibetan Sand Fox” found in Tibet and India. Characterized by slender and long-slitted eyes and an expressionless demeanor. It’s hard to discern what they’re thinking. Due to its resemblance to a face that has attained enlightenment, it’s also called a “void face.” (From May issue, 2024 / 2024年5月号より)
