Mata, Korare (Welcome Back Again)

If you forget something at the train station, you can contact them to have it mailed to you. A message card that JR Toyama Station sends out with lost and found items has become a hot topic on social networking services. The card is in the form of a ticket, named “Lost and Found Express Ticket,” with the departure station being “Toyama Station” and the arrival station being “Customer.” The cards for people outside of the prefecture are stamped with the word “mata, korare,” which means “welcome back again” in Toyama’s dialect.
