School Outline And Education Method
Since being established in 1988, approximately 450 students from all over the world continuously study at either their boarding school, or their newest school facility. Additionally, in 2008 they jointly ran the Tokyo branch of “YIEA Tokyo Academy,” where the goal is to do more than just teach the Japanese language. YIEA encourages their students to become active members of society while continuously developing their globally conscious personalities.
Lesson Features
They maintain a high level of study-effectiveness by placing their students into appropriate class levels. They use techniques that enable their students to successfully pass examinations such as the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students and the Japanese Language Proficiency Test grade 1., while also further encouraging them to pursue higher education, including graduate school, university and/or vocational school. Their strength is focusing on their students’ conversation abilities, and equipping them with communication skills equivalent to that of native Japanese speakers.
About Activity
YIEA makes both students’ academic and social lives more enjoyable by organizing a variety of cultural events, including speech contests and student exchange programs.
